Primary School Mathematics
(Primary 3, 4, 5 & 6)
Our Primary School Mathematics Programme is thoughtfully designed to support children through the most important years of their primary school journey — from building strong foundations to preparing confidently for the PSLE.
Our teaching follows the MOE syllabus closely, with carefully selected questions to reinforce key concepts and application skills. More importantly, we take time to explain concepts patiently, address learning gaps early, and provide clear feedback so parents understand their child’s progress.
Beyond results, we aim to build confidence and independence. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explain their thinking, and take pride in their improvement. With consistent guidance and a supportive learning environment, children develop the assurance needed to approach mathematics with clarity and confidence.
Our Approach
Concept mastery before speed
Students develop deep understanding before tackling timed questions.
Guided problem-solving practice
Teachers walk students through thinking processes step by step.
Confidence-first learning environment
We nurture curiosity and reduce maths anxiety at an early stage.
Strong fundamentals tracking
Early gaps are identified and corrected before they compound.
Primary 3
Primary 3 marks the transition from basic arithmetic to more structured mathematical thinking. Students begin applying concepts to real-world problem sums and develop foundational skills needed for upper primary.
What Your Child Will Learn
Multiplication and division up to 10,000
Fractions and simple word problems
Area and perimeter
Time, money, and pictographs
Introduction to bar model representation
Primary 4
Primary 4 introduces more abstract concepts and multi-step problem solving. Mastery at this level is crucial as it prepares students for the rigour of upper primary mathematics.
What Your Child Will Learn
Fractions and decimals
Factors and multiples
Area and perimeter of composite figures
Angles, Symmetry and Nets
Tables, Line Graphs and Pie Charts
Multi-step word problems using models
Primary 5
Primary 5 mathematics is conceptually demanding and forms the backbone of PSLE preparation. Students are expected to handle complex problem sums with speed and accuracy.
What Your Child Will Learn
Numbers and Four operations
Fractions, decimals, percentage and rates
Area of triangle, Volume of cubes and cuboids
Angles, Triangles, Parallelogram, Rhombus and Trapezium
Advanced multi-topic problem sums
Primary 6
Primary 6 focuses on PSLE readiness. Students consolidate all concepts, refine answering techniques, and build exam confidence through intensive practice.
What Your Child Will Learn
